This is the experience that I bring to the AIL …

I’ve just finished my master’s degree in Environmental Sustainability and Circular Economy at the Politecnico in Milan and I also had a lot to do with innovation while studying for my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at ESADE in Barcelona and the University of Innsbruck. I’ve always enjoyed discovering and developing new solutions to old problems.

This is particularly important to me in my work …

In my work, it’s particularly important to me that I have a hands-on impact and the opportunity to specifically promote sustainable projects. I’m particularly interested in international projects with global implications, due to the fact that I’ve been able to gain lots of experience in other countries myself. This has increased my understanding of the importance of international collaboration in order to, firstly, protect our planet and, secondly, optimise our support to local farmers in these ever-changing times. These farmers are the basis for our food security and we should make this task as easy as possible for them.

These are the issues that I will support in the AIL …

In the AIL, I’ll mainly deal with our sustainability issues, from the circular economy to other current questions such as the development of CO2 models. As a contact point for international and national startups, I’ll also support the AIL in developing global Challenges that seek to address the megatrends of the future. I’m looking forward to accompanying interesting new research and the development of fascinating ideas through targeted innovation management.

This is what interests me besides my work …

I love to travel and was lucky to be able to visit every continent during the year after my A-levels. I took on a variety of jobs during this year, from developing innovative financial aids for young women from the slums of Manila to working for two months on a farm in Argentina. Working with animals has always been one of my greatest passions and I have a little dog, with whom I’ll soon be competing in agility tournaments. Networking is another of my favourite activities, so I’m happy that this is an important part of my new role here at the AIL.
I look forward to a successful and exciting collaboration!
