Collaboration with startups and external drivers of innovation is the AIL’s recipe for success. But while it’s important to be inspired by impulses from outside the company, we mustn’t forget the valuable treasure trove of experience and ideas that is waiting to be discovered within our own ranks.
With this in mind, the first round of the “Funkenflug” innovation camp was held in June. Seventeen employees from all RWA divisions took part in a three-day training course on innovation. In addition to this advanced coaching in design thinking, the participants put what they had learned into practice in the shape of an initial business idea. This gave them a model for implementing innovative projects in their own division – as well as an opportunity to network and create together.
This first workshop marked the launch of the RWA’s Innovation Ambassador Network: This will ensure that knowhow about innovation is shared throughout the company.
