Green Deal and Farm to Fork strategies are creating new challenges for agriculture. At the same time, research and development continue to improve our organic inputs. Biostimulants, microorganisms, extracts and various plant additives help to address a range of negative factors that affect agricultural crops. Now, the Agro Innovation Lab is launching its new innovation format, the Bio Innovation Challenge 2022.

The Agro Innovation Lab is hosting the Bio Innovation Challenge in 2022 in cooperation with biohelp and the RWA Crop Protection Department. During the year, an extensive program of research will review the market and promising products will be tested.

The (interim) results of the challenge will be presented at a joint event in November 2022. A range of stakeholders from industry, science, and government will be involved throughout the process in order to ensure not only that problems are addressed from every perspective, but also that new active ingredients and methods can then be transferred from the research laboratories to the field.

Anyone who would like to enter a product that is conceived for the agriculture of tomorrow can apply, from January 2022, on our Website, where interested parties can also find extensive further information about the Challenge.
