Following the conclusion of the Green Lagerhaus Challenge 2021, the winning products will move into the Lagerhaus stores in mid-March, in time for the start of the gardening season. Customers interested in innovations will find these products in the “Grün Gedacht” range.

The products from the Challenge and in the “Grün Gedacht” range meet at least two criteria from such areas as sustainability, environmental protection and the circular economy. More information about “Grün Gedacht” can be found here.

In addition to our Challenge winners, the range, which is constantly being expanded, also includes a variety of other products. “Grün Gedacht” will be available from mid-March in Lagerhaus Home & Garden Centres, building materials outlets and the Lagerhaus online store.

The winning products of the Green Lagerhaus Challenge are:

  • Alpha Hygiene Absorber: Alpha Hygiene Absorber, with its fresh berry scent, is a non-toxic binder for liquids. Simply sprinkle on, remove and dispose. With the all-purpose smell and urine remover, there is no odour nuisance and no contact with bacteria or viruses. The powder is first sprinkled on the liquid and then, after about two minutes, the liquid has been bound and can be lifted from the floor with a shovel and disposed of in the household waste. If the reaction time is longer, the mass can also be removed using a vacuum cleaner
  • Polyter water reservoir: Produced on the basis of vegetable cellulose, the organic water reservoir from Polyter is biodegradable and universally applicable to all annual and perennial crops. It can be used with all soils and climates. The product stores excess water from natural precipitation or artificial irrigation. This prevents drought stress and strengthens root growth.
  • Immergrün Wurmgold: Immergrün Wurmgold is suitable for organic farming. The fertiliser is ideal for roses and ornamental flowering plants as well as vegetables and rosemary. Periwinkle Wurmgold is made from black soldier fly larvae. It stimulates root growth and ensures long-lasting, beautiful flowers, while also reducing fungal and pest infestation and making plants more resistant.
  • LightMate G photovoltaic system: With LightMate G, you can now produce your own solar power. Your ready-to-use photovoltaic system for balcony or garden simply plugs in and supplies your home with its own renewable electricity.
