In addition to our own intense marketing of the AIL’s activities, we are delighted that we receive so much media attention. In August, two articles featured the Agro Innovation Lab.
“Bauernzeitung” reported on progress in weeding technology in the field of robotics. Following the announcement by Naio Technologies in July that their robot Dino would also be equipped with in-row hoeing technology from next year, Bauernzeitung reported on the current state of development. This can be read on page six of Issue 32, which appeared on 12th August.
In mid-August, a two-page article in the “Presse am Sonntag” (https://www.diepresse.com/6021142/der-bauer-als-entrepreneur) examined the agricultural sector and the startups that have made their home in the sector despite the fact that their roots were elsewhere. What do all these startups have in common? Their current or past contacts with RWA and/or the AIL and the huge benefits that resulted from this cooperation, regardless of whether this contact resulted from an acceleration programme or was much more informal.
We are always happy to read such reports, not least because they demonstrate the huge breadth of the concept of innovation and the incalculable value of thinking outside the box.
